mind space

This series of images takes place in my family’s bath, laundry, and kitchen montage of a room. While having a sick family member, this small entity has provided us with another shower space to quarantine safely. This transformed restroom remains multifaceted. I attempt to reveal the seemingly ridiculous but evidently useful entities of this space. The microwave is placed across from the toilet. One will defrost meat at the same sink used to brush teeth. Someone may be doing laundry while another bakes a snack. Fruits and vegetables are kept here, above the washing machine and right next to some detergent. This small space is used to its full potential, nothing wasted. We find ourselves interacting with the confines of the walls and each other, physically and mentally sharing a mind space.
